Willows Weep for Me!

When you’ve been out of work for 9 months, you don’t get many laughs. But this little advertisement from my email bin (the unemployed get a steady deluge of stuff like this) did provide some amusement. Television, the universal language of a new century: what wouldn’t a red-blooded 52 year old male pay to consummate his Marg Helgenberger fantasy, huh?
But the reality is that Marg and I will have to do our thing in another lifetime. Hell, I can’t even get these things — believe it or not, they say I’m still making too much money to qualify!
But at least I don’t live in some socialist-Communist-Hitler-loving nation like they got over in Europe. I may rot and die in poverty, but I’ll rot and die a ‘Murkin, goddamit.
