Yes, Man!!!
The Yes Men will be back in theaters this Friday, but they’ve been around for at least five years, posing as representatives of Dow Chemical, Halliburton, the WTO, and other corporate monsters. So you’d think the news media would kind of be onto them by now, right? You’d figure that Andy Bichlbaum’s face would be readily recognized as a red flag, that the likes of FOX, the New York Times, and the Washington Post would know well enough to pass on a news conference from a known “Yes Man,” right?
Um…no. Our media are just as clueless, stupid, and bloated with their own hot air as, well, a weather balloon. Watch and enjoy — it is always a pleasure to see a professional at work. I recognized Bichlbaum instantly; I’d seen their first film. And if I were a so-called journalist, I’d make it my duty to get acquainted with the Yes Men. But I’m beginning to think that the poor dweebs of the MSM actually enjoy making fools of themselves…
